Can anyone tell me what is causing my leathers and mushrooms to split all the time. I am not sure if it's in alkalinity issue or pH if issue. My salinity, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia and phosphate are all perfect but I have been dealing with this for many months now. Just when they seem to grow they get big and almost look like there's tissue necrosis and Split. Could this just be a simple trace element missing? I also dose with calcium, microvert, coralaccel, chromaPlex and liquid reef. This is my 75 gallon aquarium where I have multiple anemones and leathers. Everything else seems to be doing fine other than the toadstools and mushrooms. I also only use RODI water for mixing my salt.

That little dot is what I believe to be a flat worm  I looked at all my coral and only found one. But there has to be more

Best is to frag before it die
cut parts healthy and trow away the other
Do this for the Leather or the Mushrooms? I did notice a single flat worm which has my concern increased x1000 this has been a health system for almost 6 years now got an infected Duncan frag that I dipped, somehow that wasn't enough.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
