Hi guys,

I am having some trouble on how to hang my ReefBreeder LED fixture. I have a 44 gal pentagon and currently the LED fixture is just resting on my tank hood but i'd like to hang the fixture and go hood less. The problem i have is that the wall that the tank is under is at a slope and since we are renting the house i don't want to go drilling any unnecessary holes in the ceiling if i don't have to, so my question is this. Does anyone know of a bracket system that is already made that i can hand from the back of the tank that will suspend my fixture over the tank or a good DIY page that would work?

I would look into the DIY conduit hooks out there. They are easy and cheap to build.

Otherwise have you thought about putting a larger shelf bracket on the wall and attaching the fixture to that?

I have seen the conduit hooks and I think that may be the way to go and most economical. I haven't seen any shelf brackets that would work so far, since the wall the tank is up against is at a 90 degree corner and the way my pentagon tank is set up it makes it a little awkward to hang any shelf so far. Thanks for the suggestion and I think the DIY rout is the best one to take since I haven't seen anything built/sold for the pentagons yet.

Another option would be to see if reefkoi can custom make a bracket for you. I know he makes them for other led systems, but I don't know if he can for a pentagon tank. It may be worth asking though.
