Need help planning my next LEDs for my next build

My next build will be 2 40b sharing a sump one 40 will be my display while the other my frag tank

Livestock wise not to sure yet but I will be keeping everything sps lps zoas and maybe a nem not sure

So my question what ratio of LEDs would I need for both? One full reef and one frag tank for zoa lps sps frags


Will be using cree leds

I'd go with 3:1 on both units. (Blue to White)

No. I wouldn't. But others may deem it necessary, but I doubt it.

The other colors are not nescesary IMO but are nice to have. I helped a friend build a LED light where we used several different colors. He did a build thread on it and it has some good info on it that I would recommed reading if attempting an LED build. It is not hard, but the more planning, the better the outcome. I have built 4 fixtures now and have learned something new or a better way to do something everytime.
