led wattage question

how many watts per gallon is recommended for growing soft corals.i have 77 watts in an 8 gallon .would this work for softies and or hard coral.what will it do to coralline alage.thanks

That should be more than enough. But will also do with what color temp/spectrum you are running with soft coral.
