I think im going to make the plunge into getting LEDs...
I currently have T5s - odyssea
https://www.amazon.com/Odyssea-Aqua...67382057&sr=1-3-fkmr1&keywords=odyssea+24"+t5
I believe I have had these lights for about 4 years or so, I have replaced the bulbs and kept up with maintenance. Now, pretty recently since i changed the bulbs last (probably 2 months ago) went from 2 white and 2 purple to 2 white and 2 blue/actinic, I am seeing a fog in the water when I look up through the water towards the light and from certain angles around the tank.
So 3 things...
1. Is it the light causing the foggy appearance? if i look straight down into the tank, it is clear as day.. glass is pretty stinking clean also
2. Anyone think of anything that could be causing the foggyness?
3. My tank is a 40breeder.. Any suggestions on LEDs without breaking the bank? figure $100-200 budget on the lights.
Thanks!
