I have two leptoseris coral varieties in my mixed reef (75 gallons). One is the Frankenstein and the other jack o lantern. The Frankenstein (I think) looks good. Nice blue coloration and I believe I see growth on one side - some fuzzy skin thingy growing out over the frag plug very slowly. Pretty sure that’s good.

On the other hand, the jack o lantern went right downhill. It has lost almost all coloration at this point. Mostly white now, unfortunately. I’ve had it 2 and a half months. I moved it to three different locations in that time with no success. It’s currently back next to the Frankenstein which is doing well. I’m at a loss as to what is going on and how to proceed.

They are both in the lower half of my tank, solid light, medium indirect flow. My other corals look good around my tank.

My current parameters:
1.025
Nitrate 10.7
Phosphate 0.11
Alk 8.5
Calcium 437

I'm attaching one photo of my Frankenstein and two photos (when I bought it vs today) of the jack o lantern.

I would raise it higher into more light. Mine is at middle height in my tank under MH lighting, this coral likes light

Will do, thanks.

Do you agree the Frankenstein looks good? I don't 100% know what I'm looking for but it seems to be doing alright
