So after a sibatical due to life happening I slowly started buying up some equipment about a year ago in anticipation of starting a new reef system, while my initial thoughts were to go with an inwall display i was presented with an oppourtunity to build a peninsula so i thought, why not..

System size: 2.3m x 1m x 700 , +- 1600t it will be plumbed to run on closed loopusing some SCWD devices I have in my poesession.
I have plumbed my system to my garage where i am running 2 x 260lt drums
1 for K1 media
1 for natural food production so the in and out on that drum is very slow
1 x Reef Octo EXT 7000 protein skimmer
I have built a chiller out of a 160lt KIC deepfreezer which i will put online asap.
I have attached a QT system linked to the main system but also running of an independant cannister filter to be able to shut the system from the main DT should i feel i need to.
Lighting will be Orphek Atlantik iCon unless the boss feels generous after he sees my thread 😂🤞
I have some Tunze 6095 pumps ill use on a wave maker oscillation device for random flow.

Im kinda winging it so long so ill start threads on my various sections of the builds and add here so that they can be followed

Sounds good
Post up some pictures when you have them

Following along!
