Lesson Learned

So truth be told, I do occasionally go visit that other reef forum, that shall remain nameless, but the one that restricts and bullies its users. This morning, while waiting for the green bean casserole to bake, I tried to see what was going on over there. Well, my Macbook blocked me from entering the site and cited a security error, "Deceptive Site Ahead" :p:D It sure did make me giggle. Serves me right for straying from home ;) I'm so glad to feel welcome and supported here by all you crazy but awesome fellow reefers! I just thought I would share that moment with you all. May you all be at peace, stuff your bellies beyond full and enjoy your loved ones! Happy Thanksgiving and happy reefing! :)

There is a reason why some have gotten off that site. I did a few years back because I was sick of the vibe and others that were giving advise that was way over their experience levels. R2R is the best thing going for real people that want to learn and excel in this hobby. The Mods are spot on and will let you know if you raise any red flags before marching you to the gallows...

I've been a member of just about every type of reef community for years. To me our group has and will continue to be the best because we all give a crap about each other, our animals, and the hobby in general. Commonality has its benefits surely, but our diversity shows the true strength of this little community. Keep up the good work people. [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

P.S. we should never dog the competition, we would do best by leading as an example.
