Here’s my LT plate. It also has the green tiger stripes. It’s about 8-10” in diameter. This is my first since being in the hobby 12yrs. I’ve had it a little over a year now.

I have another one, that I got in my first batch Of corals. I had a heater controller drift in its calibration, that I didn't notice for possibly 2 weeks- it got down to 68. I lost the fungia and a maze brain frag. I put both in the DT with the first wave, maybe 2 months ago- and the fungia has recently started to regrow flesh and even has a dozen or so tentacles. Too hard to get pics though
Yea I was told that a bunch of little ones will grow off of the skelloten when it dies but it takes a long time to happen.

Now ya'll got me to wanting to give them another try :) back when I tried these before ,, we didn't have coral foods like we have now days ,,, I don't like feeding Mysis Shrimp ,, nothing wrong with it ,, pellets or Reef Frenzy is easy ,, anyone know what kind of a Par number they like ,, I ask because I have two tanks ,, both with two different sand bed Par numbers ,,

This happened to a friend's Plate Coral back in the day ,, she had bunches of babies ,, like bunches :) I want to say only 1 or 2 stayed alive ,,, did any of them stay alive long term ,, I don't know ,, but we have good coral food now days :)

I would choose the tank with lower light.
