Over the years I've built a Ca. reactor, a couple Kalk mixers, numerous sumps and a lot of other misc. probe holders and whatever you can't buy but need.
This week I built a few things to help with some loose ends I had regarding my new apex.

A Modded picture frame and three switch's for the break out box.

A float switch holder for the skimmer. Now it will shut off if it tries to blow it's top

A second switch box for the rest of the Break out box. It will shut off heaters and the ATO, or the skimmer and Ozone depending on my tasks.

And finally a heater bracket so they arent clunking around the bottom of the sump like they have been for the last eight years.

My first project with acrylic. Got a free sump from a buddy. Modded it to get a frag section in there. Bit of a learning curve. But worked out well

Nice looking sump. I suppose I shouldn't have said specifically acrylic. I add glass baffles to all my glass sumps. I have as big of a pile of scrap glass to work with as I do acrylic.

Acrylic is addicting. Wish I had better tools for working with it.

Love the smell of Weldon in the morning!

I went crazy with acrylic from acclimation boxes to line holder (dosing and ATO) but here is my favorite to day. I used 1/16" for most thing but my skimmer stand was buckling, un-coupling my pump from skimmer body. I roughed this out in 15 minutes. Form fitting and 1/4" thick to last.

I bet my shorts (scrap) pile of acrylic is bigger than yours! Nice to see a few RF guys on here as well. J

A CNC and or a router with spiral router bits. Carbide triple chip table saw blades. Negative hook angle helps, among other things. J
