Let's talk wall hammers (Fimbriaphyllia ancora)

Have this beauty coming soon and want to get some input from those who have had long term (i.e. 2 yr or greater) success with this variety. I have read that they are slightly trickier once they have some infection due to the lack of separate heads. I plan on lower flow and medium to low light. Anyone want to provide some feedback on what worked for you?

Wondering if the angst around this specific species is overblown or if the caution I see repeated is true.

Have had mine for about 4 years now. It has gotten slightly bigger, but it is certainly a slow grower.

My sole female clown has deemed it her home. Could be why it doesn't grow? I have no problem growing anything else. lol

Don't think they are any harder to keep then a regular branching hammer.

Keep sand out of it. A damsel started digging and irritated mine to death after 3 years. Good luck. It's beautiful.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be sure to post pictures. I'm hoping it's as red as it appears in the photo.
