Wow.

That LFS will surely fail if they continue to lose good customers like Y'all.

To each their own I guess... In my case they did me a favor but had I been the OP I too would probably have been a little bummed out. Its nice to get a little something back especially if purchased from that same store to begin with.

It's nice being able to bring in Anemone clones or a fish that isn't working out for a small credit. We can't expect retail but a 20% livestock or dry goods credit goes a long way in creating a relationship and repeat customer.

My LFS is great for giving credit on the couple corals I brought in even though I was not expecting anything in return. I am in just about every weekend for supplies or a fish or coral. I think the use it as a good will to keep me happy. If it was me and your store gave you no credit and the sold the fish for $150, I would just give the fish away to someone via craiglist or a local forum.
