Does anyone know what the lifespan on these tanks tend to be if they are never shut down? I am looking at changing/modifying some equipment on my tank but I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it? The tank (as far as I know) has been in operation since 2009 and I purchased it second-hand mid 2011. I'm wondering if it still has another 10 years or if it could likely go any day now?

I still have my 24g nano cube from 12 years ago when I started reefkeeping :) original pump still works I just took it down I'll hopefully be re doing it as a NPS system. Doesn't matter how much I upgrade or progress I love the nano cubes.

If it helps I've had a JBJ28gal for 3 years and its going strong other than the pumps. Again between the construction quality of the seems and the glass I'd say results may vary. There have been reports of the back chamber/glass just blowing out over time. Along with the curved corners in the front of the tank cracking. Hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.
