I recently bought the JBJ Nano Glow, doesnt seem to be working for me....
I have heard a regular home depot clip on lamp with regular bulb works...

Actually I was looking through some of my spare equipment for the bearded dragon I used to have and noticed that I have a small heat lamp. Would a regular light bulb work good for chaeto? If so, what size? Also, what does everybody recommend for lighting cycle...I've seen some people say to have the fuge light on when the DT lights are off and I've seen others say to just leave the fuge light on all the time.

I use a 10w LED I found on clearance at Lowes, but everyone says the regular compact fluorescents work great too. Mine is on 24/7 because I don't have space on my power strips for another timer, and everything seems to be just fine. It grows like crazy!

interesting, i will leave mine on all the time and see how that goes....

Here is what I use works great.
