Light question

Im planning a 220 gallon upgrade for the blackwater aquarium I have. Since what I know about led lighting could fill a thimble. What would be a good light in the 3-4000k range that is round like a spot light? The puc is what Im trying to replicate

I have a BW tank that is in the process of making. I too have looked for a spotlight effect for the lighting. The only specific aquarium light I could find is the Lominie brand that has a variable spread.

Perrsonal preference, I wished they hadn't overbranded the fixture with all the darn lettering.

Thanks. I was looking on Amazon at the hygger spot lights. Ill check the one you mentioned also.

What are you planning on keeping? Im going for a Rio Nanay biotope with angels,discus,flag cichlids,and various tetras.

Keeping it simple, Green Neons (preferably wild caught). An Apisto male (center piece fish). A small little troup of Pygmy Cories.

Sounds like you have decent variety of fish planned ;-)

Actually the Rio Nanay angelfish are only referred to as Peruvian albums. They are not true altums. True albums are in the Rio Negro and Orinoco river basins.

Absolutely. It's tough to tell from the photo, but the one at the top (kind of sitting at an angle) looked like it had a pronounced notch in the forehead, so I was thinking true altums. I wasn't there in person though, so I'll take your word for it!

Ah, now I understand. Sometimes Im a little slow. LOL The fish in the picture are altums. The tank isn't mine. Its just my inspiration.
