Reef Breeders 24" Photon V2+
SO I pickup one of these to replace my Hydra AI 32. I have dozens of files for the HD and 100os on line,
I cant seem to find any info on ideal setting for this light and I can not seem to dial it in. IT's creating huge algea blooms nad burning my SPS!!

any one have a resource for a mixed reef with not full on blue but not white settings?

I copied the radion ab+ spectrum at 25% nothing is burning and algae is in check
Thanks for your post. I'm admittedly a little dense on this stuff. Can you by any chance link o the radion and explain what you mean by 25%? I am not sure I understand what people are referring to when they say that or talk about max at 50% (what ever number)

Do you literally mean that if the original radion ab+ for channel one says80% you set the breeder to 20%?

sorry for the stupid q

What settings are you using? How high is the light mounted?
right now light is 15" above water
runs from noon to 9;30 pm

ch1 ramps in 2 hours to 5% then to 0 in last 2 hours
ch2 to 6%
ch3 to 34%
ch4 to 11%
ch5 to 80%
ch6 to 74%

I've been running this setting for about 6 months with good growth and coloration for my Zoas and Trumpet.

But I am going to reduce intensity because I have a ton of green hair algae now and I also want to enjoy the blues in the later evening. Going to try this out:

If anyone has tips on these schedules please let us know!

The other think I think might be helpful for people is what size light and how far above the water level do you have your light?

I run 70% blue 20% white. Tune it down a little from that. Maybe 60% and 15%. Just find a color that looks pleasing to the eye and leave it alone.
