Light Suggestions.

So its that time to replace bulbs from my stock hood. Its the Hamilton Cebu Sun Hood so 250watt MH + 4 24watt T5s (plus a moon LED). Right now I run the T5s for 8 hours and the MH for 4 hours.



Im going to get the 20k Radium for the MH bulb. I'm not sure what combo I want to get for the t5s, I was thinking 2 ATI blue+ and 2 ATI purple+. What do you think is a good combo for my T5s? btw its primarily a SPS tank.

If it were me I would use 2 Hexarc Blue Plus and 2 Hexarc true actinic or 3 BP + 1 actinic .
Same as the old Geisemann's before the D&D change over . A lot of ppl are all ATI and also don't care for actinic . I don't care if it looks dim because the corals color up better . In your case the halide covers a lot of par n spectrum . It's a mute statement in regards to actinic's do nothing . I never had a problem with colors on my SPS with hexarc's . U can go back to my old 57 rimless thread for proof . Save some money and get six bulbs for the price of 2 ATI's . If you do try them LMK how u like or dislike them .
