I'm starting a nem tank out of my 20g breeder that I once used as a QT. Once set up I'll move a rock with 5 RBTA's from the main to free up some room in there. I'll be adding some different types of nems down the road as well.
Don't want to spend too much money on this tank so I'll be using equipment I have on hand. The only thing I'll need to purchase is lighting for this tank. Presently I'm running Kessil's and the Aquaticlife fixture over the main tank. I don't want to spend too much on the light for this tank and would like to keep it at around $100 or under. Suggestions?

Definitely a Chinese black box. My rainbow bubble tip grew like crazy under my black box.

I was looking at the used market for brand name lighting but even those are around the $200 mark. Probably should reconsider the Chinese black box after all.

The black box will grow anything you want it to only downside it it doesn’t have the fancy auto timers and such, you can just get a wall outlet timer which works fine. If you want brand name I would look at an ai prime.
