Tank will be shipping soon so I haven't seen it in person, but debating on what lights to use. Display tank is 59" x 30" x 21.7" and the room has cathedral ceilings so anything hanging will need some sort of wall mount/brackets. Tank is eurobraced, which makes tank mounts tricky. I'm open to pretty much anything, but was thinking either Reef Breeders Meridian 45 w/ edge bars, or two of ATI Straton X. I'm not sure if the ATIs can be mounted to the back glass behind the overflow or if they would be too close together.

This tank will be somewhat mixed reef but more SPS than in my previous tanks.

Honestly the biggest concern I have is the mounting/hanging situation.

I have the same tank and decided on meridians as well. I have 2 24s tied together. When tank grows out I have another 2 24s! Probably overkill but got a great deal on all 4

I'm awaiting the same system, though I just ordered so it'll be a whiiiiiile before I get it. But I contacted IM with a few questions, mounting lights being one of them. (I do not want to hang lights from ceiling.) this is what IM responded with:

"Most people use a mounting system similar to the HMS aqua illumination mounting kit to hand their lights."

Reefbreeders has tank mounts for the meridian that work with euro bracing

How would you use that mount with the eurobrace? Attach it to the overflow?

According to the Google, the multi-light mount is compatible with a Eurobrace, but the single arm is not. I hope this is true since it's what I ordered! LOL

I love that it has a few extra inches on top; would have loved in IM made these that way.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
