My first saltwater tank is a Tideline AIO 47 Gen2 and I am considering a Redsea LED G2 115 light. I read where it only covers 24" x 24" and my tank is 36.5" x 18" x 15" deep. I am open to suggestions on what will be best light(s) for my new tank. Thanks to you all.

I think lights with a 'footprint" of 24"x24" is quite common; you may need two fixtures for your tank.

I would take a look at Noobsyche, Nicrew, and SmartFarm for budget options. The EcoTech Radions are often considered the premium solution. And I personally like Kessil lights, middle of the road for pricing and they have great shimmer.

Good luck with your build!

I just started a 47 Gen 2 Oct 7. Almost cycled. Are you going to use other filtration besides the 2 socks provided?

I think fishfan is on the right track. I agree that radions are great lights.

Nicrew hyper reef gen2 and the other Amazon type lights have come along way and I think are good entry point that don’t brake the bank

I really want to try a reefi uno 2.1 pro. The cool think about that light is it comes with multiple degree reflectors included that you can swap out if you wish
