First off thanks in advance! I have a 220g lit with 3 250w DE MH, I just aquired a canopy for the sole purpose of being able to mount in some actintic supplimental lights. I also just aquired an arro ballast that can run 16' of lights and it came with a harness as well as 8 waterproof t12 vho endcaps (prewired) all in perfect condition. Now my question is since I am already set on lights that grow and these are for supplimental only is there any advantage to changing stuff out for t8 or t5 other than making my credit card company happy? My second question is if I stick with t12 vho what bulbs would you pair up with 250 DE pheonix 14k's to add a bit more pop, as well as give a good dawn/dusk instead of my poor dark/blinded I got going on? (growth would be a bonus but mainly looking to color up my sticks)

Just thought of a third question.... would 4 46.5" bulbs be better or just go with 2 70"? the ballast gives me an option to run 1-4 bulbs so your best combos for a 6' long 2.5' wide tank would be very welcome!
