hello everyone. i’ve been gone for a bit but i’m planning to make a comeback. my thought is to purchase a UNS R120 what keeps me from ordering is the lighting. it will be going in our sitting room so my wife does not like the light spillage. i had ración xr15 gen 4 on my last tank. which i still have in the garage. my wife hated them. i have to admit the spillage does get annoying after awhile. does anyone have any recommendations for keeping spillage under control? it will be mixed reef a few pieces of sps corrals. i’ve seen some ai blades mounted pretty much at tank height. any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

3D printing makes shields for them . I would make sure that is all she doesn't like though . Just maybe its the whole thing . My wife is like that

Orphek lights don’t kill your eyes to look at , additionally look at printed reef for lamp shades before purchasing next light

originally when i purchased the tank the light i had sat across the top of the tank she loved sitting in front of the tank with the kids. but corals wouldn’t grow. bought kessil 160’s she didn’t like then i stepped up to xr15’s gen 4’s she hated it. life issues made me tear down the tank. now we have a new house and she’s asking me to build a tank. but the lighting is the only issue. i didn’t realize i had two posts but somebody mentioned canopy. i had the look but can some light shade help me. does anybody have pics of before and after with the shades? thanks
