Lighting help

Looking for help with lighting I have just sold my 4ft and downsizing. I have a 26gal 27inch tall tank. I have a single 250w halide kicking around. Is it going to cause me much of a heat problem ?

That's one heck of a light for a 26gal lol. You'll probably have heat problems and I would imagine most, if not all, corals wouldn't be able to handle that intense light.

Thanks I thought as much but think the hight is my problem. Then tank is 24 wide 27 tall and 12 deep.
