Hey all, I just pulled the trigger on a Reef Casa 6g Pico (16W x 15L x 7H). I'm considering the AI Blade Grow AND Glow, will this be too much lighting for the tank? I can ramp the power down but it still seems like a lot. Also, I'm trying to stay with Top Shelf Aquatics as I have a $500 gift card there.

Also, are these lights intended to be run in parallel? One is for growing and one is for "glowing", has anyone run these together? What's it look like?

What corals and inverts do you plan for the tank?
You can always ramp the blades way down or just use one until you figure it out.
I ran a Popbloom Ir90 on my ReefCasa Pico.

Stocking is going to be mainly zoas, rockflowers, and maybe one larger anemone. No SPS (or easy like birdsnest). So far I'm planning on a few sexy shrimp, pom pom crab, and MAYBE a small green mantis if I want to go species tank.

EDIT: Will also have a lot of euphylia

I've had AI prime's before, and I have nothing against them, I just want to try something new. Great light with a lot of customizability though!

With the width/depth of your tank I don't know if you'll get enough spread?

With the AI Prime? It's 16x15x7, I figured that would cover it easy. I know the blades will cover it no problem.

Oh poop! Sorry. I read too quick. You're planning on one of each so you should be fine.
Just know one sidemay "pop" a little more.
I run an ai prime mid high power on my wb 15. Its display is 16x14x14 and I can grow everything but sps (digis etc grow fine)

I think if I run them horizontally one in front of the other (front to back) I shouldn't have different lighting zones

Reefbreeder Meridian 11 would be awesome on that tank. The warm white is so nice. And, you'd have the advantage of a single fixture.
Great light. It can be used on any upgrade too!
