I've always done a traditional ramp up, same intensity, ramp down. Ran across a WWC video today and it was more of an instant peak light cycle then a step down for the remainder. Like the sound of it and made sense but wondering if any others are doing this? Thanks!!!

They do that so the whites are turned down while the store is open, because stuff looks nicer with heavy blues.

You can have the white plateau at any point during the day and accomplish the same thing.

Gotcha. So basically they just getting that good full spectrum right outta the gate before the store opens and then blue it out.

I guess the other question then is, any benefit to hitting the corals early with high par full spectrum with little ramp time and then letting them chill all day in lower par? Ie. Versus a more 'traditional' 3 hr ramp up, 4-5 hr high par, 3 hr ramp down.
