I'm upgrading to a 150g soon and wanted to get some input on lighting. I currently have a 90g sps dominant tank and I am running two Chinese LED fixtures with a couple of t5 bulbs. These are inside a canopy.

Wife is saying she doesn't want a canopy, but I don't think she would like the look of fixtures hanging from the ceiling either, so let's leave this wide open to suggestions other than metal halide.

Tank is 5x2x2 and I plan on keeping it sps dominant. I plan on building 3 islands for my aquascape. I don't mind my current lighting, but I've seen my coral in t5 only tanks and the colors are a lot better, so leaning towards going back to t5. If I do, should I get 60"?

I have a six foot 125g tank. I have two 400w halides on each side and then a 150w halide in the middle. I have mostly sps but quite a few lps zoas and gorgonians as well. It works good for me.

Also mine is in a canopy so i do run a 1/2hp chiller. Even with a 40g fuge, 20g sump, and 40g frag tank attached with the 125g dt I still have heating issues without the chiller. Just an fyi if you decide to take this path. Also I have led lighting on my frag tank. The montis love it as well as chalices, acans, brains, anemones, zoas, and others. But acro's just dont color up like they should under the led lighting.

I think I've narrowed it down to an ati sunpower fixture. Now my question is whether I need the 6 bulb or 8 bulb and if I should spend the extra cash on the dimmable fixture. What do you think?
