I am at the point where I would like to upgrade my current lights. I am currently using a Radion G2 standard. This light was good over my IM Nuvo 30 gallon, but since upgrading tanks back in January of this year, I think this is no longer adequate for what I am and will keep in the tank. Plus time to update to newer technology.

At this point I am considering a number of different options.

The first would be to upgrade the G2 pucks to G3 Pros, this would be the cheapest route. The next would be to upgrade to the new G4 pros. And the last option would be to do a hybrid fixture from a ATI T5 8 bulb with two bulbs removed and replace with 6 Nano-Box LED clusters.

The tank I am lighting is a SCA 66 gallon that has a foot print of 32" long x 24" wide. The tank will house SPS and some acans/ zoas.

Please let me know your opinion on what might be best for this setup.

Thanks,
Rob

Well this thread got buried quickly!

I am still looking for thoughts on this.

My latest though is to do the upgrade and maybe retro a pair of 24W t5's. this should help with spectrum, usable light and shadowing.
