can anybody tell me a little bit about purple color is not doing it for me is giving me algae on the front glass and on the corals that are directly underneath

What kind of purple we talking about here? That is usually in the UV range being used. Most would use more Royal and Blues.
If the tank is relatively new, or the lights are new, the algae will get a new growth in the tank, but should settle back down.

the lights are about four months old and their the ones that came with the fixture their aquatic life bulbs , the tank is 24 months old, don't have algae anywhere else just the front glass and is everyday tuts where the bulb heats

Anyway you can get the livht deflectors to point down more so the light doesnt hit the glass?
