what do you think is going to be a mixes reef 75% sps
25% lps,and soft corals ????????

Diy led ftw except it takes 36 leds to replace a 250

I wanted 400wMH< performance so I dropped around 1100ish I think. I cant remember tho because deniability is key if the wife asked me. 48x24x24

But my payback in electricity savings is going to be 3.5 years. so in 3.5 years I will be paid back completely for the fixture like I got it for free. Then its going to last me 11 years.

do 3x 18" heatsinks with 36LED kits on each.

check out reefledlights.com is where I got everything. do 2 blues to 1 white for a phoenix gold 14k look. If you want to increase the power later on add a XPG high noon kit to each fixture.

It will look awesome hanging above your tank and make your corals pop like fiyahcrackas! (say that last word aloud for emphasis)

+1 to that fire man. I've been a MH addict for longer than I care to remember, I am old, heh. On my new build, I am going 100 percent LEDs.

After some time if is not that they all are dead they stop opening and you will go back to mh or t5 I was going to do all ai's but went I some one tank I back out 100% show me tank that over year old with led's???

It seems to me that there are lots......and lots of very accomplished reefers who have gone all led and getting good or better growth in sps and sustained growth too. What type of led's did you use? Were the tank params stable?
