I am going to set up a 29g mixed tank and was wondering what light would be good and not break the bank. Would like to eventually have coral.

Mixed tank implies you want sps? What kind of budget are you trying to stick to?

Get the viparspectra 165w. Best option for that price range. Run it at 20 white and 60% blue.

Might wanna look at Reef Brite Light strips. I am using the Lumi Lite Pro's over 20H's and find them quiet suitable for the task at hand. Whats great about these is that as your tank matures and you get more light demanding corals you can just add another strip later as needed. The color "pop" you will get with them is second to none in my opinion. My second choice although outside your budget would be Kessil Tuna Blue 60's x 2. If SPS arent in the mix, 2 x A80 Tuna Blues would probably prove adequate but again are a bit outside your price range. I dont think the A80's will give enough par for sps in a tank that deep.
