I have moved the brain around many times, i now have it under a overhang totally in the shade! i would not open up for me under my lights! as soon as it was in the shade opened up completely!?!?! is this normal????

What kinda lights are you running? Ive seen most brains actually start bleaching a little under metal halides, or T-5 equivalent. I would recommend putting the brain on the bottom, and if its still bleaching or looking ticked off, shade it a bit and see how it responds.

yea i did, its totally in the shade i have a 55 gallon tank with 2x150hqi and 2x130 pcs
