I'm putting together a new 62-gallon Tideline Lagoon (48.5" × 18.75" × 15") that's going to be heavily SPS-dominant, mostly Acropora with a few Montis, torches, gonis, and zoas. Since it's only 15" deep, I'm trying to decide which lighting route makes the most sense.

Here are the options I'm considering:

  • 2× Dalua Illumagic X4 Pro (~$550 each + $75 mounting arms)
  • 2× Radion XR15 G6 Pro (~$400 each + RMS mounts, total of about $900)
  • 2× AI Hydra 32 HD (about $750 for both with mounts)
  • 2× 48" AI Blade Grow with elevated mounts (around $600 total)
My priorities are:

  • Excellent Acropora growth and coloration
  • Even PAR across the full 4-foot tank
  • Minimal shadowing as colonies mature
  • A clean, modern look
  • Good long-term reliability
If you've owned or directly compared any of these lights, which would you choose and why? I'd especially love to hear from anyone who has run the Dalua X4 Pros, since there doesn't seem to be nearly as much information on them compared to Radions and AI. I have been primarily leaning towards the Dalua but they are more expensive then everything else

Thanks in advance!

Take a look at Reefi UNO 2.1 PRO, the default SPS settings are wonderful. Reefis will outperform a Radion XR30 by a huge margin and comes with a 3 yr warranty. No cloud settings, all settings and functions are 100% internal, the User Interface is well thought out and originates from the Reefis onboard wifi so there's no app to download and hope the manufacturer supports it long term. They are legit, Daniel Lu the designer/engineer is in Washington, IIRC he works/previously worked for Intel. He'll respond to an email in short order.

I'll take them into consideration

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
