Live rock? Dry rock? Or both?

Hey everyone! I've been on the fence on what I'm wanting to do. Ive been Working on my 75g build for some time now and I'm at the point where I'm about to add water and the rock. My last aquarium I had 10 years ago I bought all live rock. But now I see a lot of people buying dry. Is there a benefit to buying dry rock over live rock other than cost? Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I mix live with base when starting. You will use that money some where else in the build

You won't be introducing any pests to your tank if you go all dry rock. Then again, you won't really be adding anything to the tank if you go all dry rock.
If your a big fan of micro diversity then your probably going to have to buy some detrivore kits online.

I appreciate the feedback. Im not wanting to go all dry rock, was just curious why so many people seem to be doing it now. Id like to go all live rock again actually. I just wasn't sure if there were benefits of having one over the other

Aquascaping.

I will only use dry now, so I can take my time, build it and cure it the way I want.

All the critters end up in there one way or another.
