Just wondering if it’s normal for live rock to darken or does it mean that my coraline algae is not doing good? I will post a pic with old rock in background and new piece in front. Is this just normal aging? Also anyone know what this brown spot is? Getting a few around the tank. Thanks

Ok thanks guess sponges are cool just wish they were a better colour than brown :) the colour difference in the live rock doesn’t really show up in pics very good. It’s just that it starts out a bright healthy pink and then mine gets dark almost black in spots so I wasn’t sure if that was normal.
