Well, the truth is, I think most people can't seem to resist the idea of a prize, real or imagined. That, or they are just taking gentle pop shots at the perpetual "live sale" with the rest of us. lol. Maybe a little bit of both. All I really know for sure is that this is a strange thread.

From a participant standpoint, I think it started with the appeal of winning prizes and really evolved into a sort of continued, light hearted statement against livesales.
