I am looking for others in Livingston County area. I can't travel far as I take care of my disabled wife. Looking for others in the area that can help guide me. I was into this years ago and haven't been for some time. Things have changed. Just setup a 33 gallon AIO as that is about as much as my back can handle these days. Tank is still cycling but almost done. Live rock, carib-sea live sand, bacteria, ammonia all added to kick start it. Ammonia is gone, but still have some nitrites. I am getting close.

I am only a few months ahead of you with a 16 gal AIO. I am in the Southwest corner of Oakland county (South Lyon).

There is a massive reef and fish store in Lansing that might be closer to you. I go to Pet Connection in Livonia though.

Good luck with your setup!

Yeah, Preuss pets. There is also a coral store in Brighton now called Great Lakes Corals off Grand River, right by 23. They have corals and some dry goods, but nothing like tanks etc., they are still relatively new. Good people though.

I'd bet that one is closer to me than Livonia. I will check it out, thanks for the heads up!
