Lobo Id and pricing! Help

How would you guys price this Lobo colony? I’m trying to get around what it’s worth as I have someone trying to trade/buy it and I’m not looking to get low balled! I can get better pictures but, it has about 25 heads with more coming up and decently sized.

Orange one ? 250-300 retail. And if it was mine that’s what I’d ask.

Honestly it’s worth more if you frag it and sold individual heads at 30-40 each but that’s a lot of work and it will take time to find 25+ buyers

Pachysepta, not lobo. I would price it at around 300 dollars for the whole colony.

Not all pachyseptas have orange circles; a better way to differentiate the two is by flesh texture.

Just my poor attempt at a joke!

The reclassifications drive me insane. Things that were one name are now lobos. Things that were lobos now aren’t.

Wellso is now trachy. Symphyllia is now lobo

It drives me nuts

Well this being said, would a torch be a good trade? Or how would you guys do this? I have the pictures of the corals he has. Like i said im still relatively new to trading corals and selling them

Ah it might actually be, I sent the coral pictures. I am pretty sure he's just going to frag this and sell it.

That colony is more in high end torch category

If you are new of unfamiliar with torches you can get scammed easily

Example: the difference between the two yellow torches is hard to tell, the top one is around 300-350. The bottom one around 150-200

Top down photos or photos with no current are also used to obscure the differences. The top yellow torch the tentacles are yellow all around. The bottom torch has tentacles that are yellow on top but purple striped on the bottom half. You can barely tell in this view

But from the side with the current on…

Those are just fancy names for indo 24k. Slight variations but no real definition

A multi head (3+) torch plus a couple frags you like from the options would be a fair trade
