Although Facebook is used more than the website, as with many of the fish sites the system is old and the money is not there to rebuild. Not to mention spam which has not been fun.
On a positive note Charter Members have free use of the Par Meter Rental Program and free entrance into LMAR frag swap. ($30)

It is May 12th this year at the aquarium, and we normally get 200+ members and their family in attendance.
One of the prizes this year will be a $500 gift card from BRS.
Any question just contact me.

I wonder if there is one near Charlotte. If not, does anyone have any info on how to get one started?

I am friend with a guy who runs an aquarium maintenance company here in Charlotte. He got me my set up.

I went with him once or twice to a meeting. It wasn’t my cup of tea, so to speak. Check our conversation and I said a bit more, not postable here so to speak (again)

Sweet! What did you search for to find this? I swear I’ve googled for it and couldn’t find anything.

The meeting place is about 5 minutes from my house.

I'm glad I could help, but as far as my methods . . . um . . . well . . .

There appears to be a least one club in Boston and it is called the Boston Reefers Society. Good luck!

The Impression team was thinking that it would be great for new members and people who are new to the the hobby in general if they had a local club they could join. There is a local club section on R2R but it has been gathering dust a lot, so we were wondering if anyone who is a member could post the following and then update the local club section. Maybe if we get enough we could make a directory! :D

1) Club name: WISCONSIN REEF SOCIETY
2) Where are you located (city and state would be the most helpful) MILWAUKEE AREA, WISCONSIN
3) A website, forum or method of contact and joining WisconsinReefSociety.COM
4) Maybe a little information about your club (how many members, how long has it been going or other stuff. GOING ON A COUPLE OF DECADES AND ROUGHLY 200 MEMBERS

Thanks and happy reefing!
