I recently purchased two containers that were new from an online water tank company. I rinsed them multiple times and ran them for the past 4 months.
I’ve recently been trying to get control of my phosphates in my tank and after using gfo for 9 months, decided to try a non gfo option by using phosphate rx to lower and keep my phosphate at around .03.
Got it where I wanted it and 2 days later was at .12 again. Added 100 drops which should have dropped me to around .08 and was .13 a day later.
So I go searching.
My mixed water is at .14.
my fresh water tank is at .30
so I check my source water at the exit of my 8 stage rodi and it’s 0.0
somehow my tanks are causing elevated phosphate.
will bleaching them and the flushing them with rodi fix this?
Tanks are from tank depot and are food grade water storage containers.
