No that's fine. They are not too sensitive to flow. If possible try an area of slightly lower flow though.
IME pH is more important to encouraging the pulsing activity.

it is fine in that spot, but they really can grow everywhere, so someone elses tank is where i like to keep them.
it looks nice when you only have a piece but if you want other corals in the future i would get rid of it. trying to keep it isolated is impossible, it just grows everywhere and is really hard to get rid of once it starts
 
My advice?
Keep it far from your main rocks. It spreads like a virus and will take over your display faster than you think.
Even then, I have no idea how, but you’ll eventually see it growing on your main rocks (remove it quickly).

You’ll know what I’m talking about soon. But it’s a very cool-looking coral though!
