Location

So I have been around the forum for a while. Purchased many corals and alot of equipment from fellow reefers. A question that I keep running into and i myself ask is "where are you located " or "where in, insert state here".
So, along with price, would it be cool with everyone to include city you are in? Any thoughts?

Lol, I'm in Norfolk, Virginia.

User name is an old one from gardening forums.

On those forums it is vital to know your location because the advice changes dramatically when you are in Phoenix Arizona vs Boston Massachusetts.

If you are using Tapatalk you can click on someone's profile and there is a place to list location within it.

Some people are less comfortable listing this information and some just don't bother.

Location information would be convenient to use on the selling forums since quality shipping is such an important part of this hobby for livestock.

Yes it would be cool to get these basic info. Another thing is sellers not updating their sell thread to state a item has sold.

I hadn't noticed since I'm not here to buy nor sell but thought it was a given that if one sells that location and price are to be posted.

If not the case, it would be nice to know. I also agree and appreciate it when the seller advises when an item has been sold and requests a mod to close the thread.
