Today I went in to check on my tank before laying down and I heard the ATO pump running, but the ATO tank was empty. Kinda weird becuase I filled it last night. Then I noticed that my return section was quite full. So I then looked and noticed that my float switch was stuck in the down (low) position. There is no water on the floor or anything like that. I also didnt put any kalk into this batch so no real apparent danger for anything bad to happen. My question is what can I do to prevent this from happening again?
I have the RKL with the RK float switches. I am only using one of the two that I have. I wanted to use the second as a back up just in case this was to happen it would shut the pump off once the water was higher than normal. I have played with my reef keeper and have yet to figure out a way to have both float switches control the same thing.
I do not want to cange equipment or anything like that. I know the optical sensors are the "best". I am just asking if anyone knows how to run both float switches to control one item.
Thanks guys!
