Anyone care to guess what this is?

center of the pic. To the lower right of the muscle. I'll give you guys awhile.

I went to shut off the lights in my tanks and spotted this in the nano. Looked new, wasn't there before. I took pics from all angles, walked out, walked back in. Turned off the blue light, turned on the day lights. Looked from the sides, from below, from the top. WHAT IN THE H&$L IS THAT?!!!
20 min later decided to poke at it with my turkey baster.... DUH!

I told you it's a dumb blonde moment... Or 20 in my case! I think the fact that I purchased two and both of these little guys are happily running around through me off.
I kept saying it looks like a feather duster but with crab legs coming out of it!
