long necks

how do you get rid of the long neck look on a zoa? I've seen pictures of healthy, normal ones, but mine's neck looks extremely elongated.

its one of two things,,more light and more flow,,way more flow..

It’s not necessarily more light but more white light. I have palys that get some very high PAR as I run the AB+ schedule and they are towards the top of the tank. Some of them have 2-3” long stalks but the lighting is very blue. I also think it has to do with some overcrowding of the polyps.
