I want a longnose Hawkfish and a pistol shrimp/goby pair for my reef tank, but I know that long nose hawks will still chase after ornamental shrimp but can’t eat them (unless they are super small). But The pistol shrimp has a deadly weapon on it, too. So Is it safe to keep these fish/shrimp together?

It depends, I think its likely a smaller pistol shrimp type would end up being lunch like a candy cane pistol...
A tiger pistol though they're on the tougher side and can pack more of a punch id say that be a safe bet especially with a longnose.

I used to keep a tiger pistol with a even more aggressive flame hawk and mostly they never interacted due to the Goby warning the shrimp and it living 99% of its life under the rock/sand

Mmmmm
..I wouldn't do it. Hawkfish is a butthole...will eat Shrimp, Snails etc.. Trust me...I speak from experience!

Really cool fish though !
