Looking for Genealogy Software

I'm trying to find a PC software program for genealogy. I guess that's what you'd call it. All the ones I've found wanted to start with me and then ask for my parents, their parents, etc. I don't want that, I want to go the other way. I want to put in a person and then put in their children. I'm trying to make a "diagram" of people in the Bible. I want to be able to put in Adam and Eve, and then Cain, Abel, Seth, etc. on down the line. I tried doing it in Excel but that got into a mess.

Anybody know where I can find such a thing?
