that's gonna be a tough room to get.. not only are the sold out for the discounted rate but they sold out the hotel well over a month ago... my wife works for the hilton corporation (double tree is one of there hotels) and she couldn't even get us a room. there is a cheer competition going on at universal so there is allot going on in the area that weekend. we booked at the best western which is right next door to the double tree.. if you look it up on mapquest there is allot of hotels within walking distance to the hotel, i would try one of those.

As a Florida resident, you might want to look at Disney hotel options also. It's a little ways away, but not bad.

Come on over to the Quality Inn. I checked in today and the parking lot is empty. $85 a night and I can see the Double Tree from here.
