Looking for sexy Zoas

I'm looking for PPE, AOG, Safecrackers, anything that is intense in coloration. Local would be good (Canada, Winnipeg). I'm willing to purchase if the price isn't nuts, but would rather trade. I will not sell any of my morphs for more than $5 a polyp, and I won't pay more than that either. Zoa prices are outa hand, and it's up to us Reefers to stop the insanity.

yes, but if it gets caught in customs.....they will be dead real fast. I have heard stories of things sitting in customs for weeks.

no...it's not as complicated as you might think.

Trading in zoanthids is relatively easy....soft corals are NOT covered under CITES (appendix I or II) with regard to trading b/w the US and Canada...this includes corals likes palys, zoas, nepthea, etc. However, ALL live-rock is banned, as are corals with a calcium skeleton (ie. LPS and SPS)...hence, ANY coral frag mounted on coral rubble/live-rock is banned.

Frags MUST be mounted to frag discs or anything that is obviously NOT from the ocean (ie. man-made).....ceramic tiles will do, as well as (food grade) plastic sheets.

thus, all you have to do is be prepared to PROVE to the customs folks that what you are saying is correct....you can be almost guaranteed that they will have no clue what a zoa is or even what a coral is for that matter.

I've got frags of the Greenskirt/center ones, I'll take pics now that they're recovering, a few others also. I've got around 6 different morphs large enough to trim. If any specific one interests anyone, lemme know.

If I had a nice sized colony, I would sell them for that price. It's a matter of time before the price comes down. I sell Yumas for around $20 a polyp depending on size. Alot better than getting them at $80 at the LFS!
