Looking for some feedback on Brightwell Aquatics MicroBacter7

I recently added a cap full of the MicroBactor7 (the actually bottle cap it comes on the 500ml bottle) to my 40g AIO. The corals were doing fine but noticed a few scans and most of my bubbletip anemones are not doing so good anymore. It's only been like 6 or so hours since I dose a cap full (a really small amount). Has anyone experienced any negative reaction from dosing a small amount of this stuff in your tank? TIA

No negative effects. However, I can’t give it a positive comment either when I know that diver collected live rock is the gold standard when it comes to biodiversity.

I've dosed it plenty of times when I first started with no side effects - I think you have something else going on

That being said I don't think it ever did anything noticeably positive for me either

The Microbacter7 should not have negatively impacted your corals at all. There's a case to be made that it does nothing at all, but that's for another thread

If you're having some trouble with your corals, I'd start a new thread with a new title, and let us know your tank parameters, lighting, flow, and often some pics of the tank and affected corals can be helpful

I recommend to test your nutrients. If they were low or borderline low before you dosed, it could have tipped things.

I’ve been through I’d say around 5 of those size bottles in the 6 years I’ve had my system running. I’ve never seen any ill effects

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I think my nutrient ratios maybe the problem. My nitrates were around 20 and phosphates were at .05. Perhaps the low P04 may be gotten lower after dosing this stuff. At the same time, I only dosed 1 cap full of it so I think it's likely something else that's causing my stuff to stress out.
