I have my Red Sea referred 350 for 10 years. The tank still doing well, but concerned about failure in the future considering that thing is already 10 years old looking for replacement, 4 foot 100 gallon tank. Been researching the different reef ready tank such as Eshopps, IM, Waterbox
Leaning toward Eshopps Mariner 100.
Any suggestions is appreciated
Thanks

My reefer 300 currently has a seam failing so I've been researching a replacement. I haven't made up my mind if I'll replace it yet or not but I have been looking at 4ft tanks and the Mariner m100 caught my attention. I like the 15mm glass vs 12mm and bottom bracing makes it even more attractive to me.
Then I saw the IM EXT 100. I like the idea of the external overflow since it means more internal area. Its a little wider but not quite as tall.
Not recommendations as I'm sure there are other options but these two caught my attention for a 4ft tank complete with sump and plumbing which is what I'm looking for.

Looking at the IM, if I am looking at it correctly, the sump is the full length of the cabinet. Currently I use the small side of the cabinet to place my 5 gallon container for ATO. I just swap the container for the ATO instead of refilling the ATO container.

Never really thought about ATO container placement. I have ATO containers in the stand as well as outside and I'm fine either way. But I have tanks scattered all over the house and neat and tidy looking isn't a priority for me lol.

I have also been looking new tank replacing my Reefer E300. I have been looking at the IM Ext and ESHOPPS Mariner. Leaning toward the Mariner because I didn't like the big gap the ext. have between the wall. It just doesn't look pretty at all with a 5" gap. Vs a internal overflow. There is only about a 1" gap between the wall only so it does look so much better.

I also have a RSR350 and expect to replace it one day due to seam failure as well. Are you going to replace just the tank and still use the base, or get a whole new setup? I’ve been wondering if a I could plumb a different model tank on a RSR stand.

Have you considered the Innovative Marine INT (internal overflow) models?

Yes, I don't like it, it goes across the tank. Plus it's constructed of acrylic and the Mariner are in glass.

I felt for a Premium tank, everything should be constructed at same material. To me acrylic and glass is not a good mix from the beauty point.

Check out UNS R120 or other models. The 45 degree cut and overflow intake not only from the surface but also from the bottom made my mind.
